HOW TO ASSIGN A JOB TO A SPECIFIC AREA AND A DIVISION?
It is important to know that when you are creating a Job for a Project, and when you already have an Area and a Division that was linked to its Project level, the Job inherits the Area and the Division selection on the Project, but are still flexible to be changed by the Schedulers and Senior Schedulers manually.
On the Project Jobs form page, scroll to the Area and the Division section.
If there is a pre-set Area and Division on each respective field, then those are the Area and the Division it has inherited from its Project.
To change the Are and the Division assignment to a Job manually, simply click on the dropdown and select one.
Don't forget to click "Save" or "Save & Close" to apply the changes you made.
If you wish to change, add or delete an Area or a Division selection from the drop down, you can do it on the Project level. It is also possible to update them on the Staff page.
However, if you are looking to update it while you are on the Jobs page, it is faster if you simply expand the Account Customer section above and quickly edit the Division or the Area drop down selection on the Project level.
