The setting you choose will depend on if you enter you inventory items including or excluding tax. If your inventory items are enter excluding tax, select excluding tax.

Sale price Exclusive of tax

If you entered your Inventory items excluding tax, select Sales are tax: Exclusive to add the tax at the end of the invoice. The sub total will show the total amount excluding tax

Sale price Inclusive of tax

If you entered your Inventory items including tax, select Sales are tax: Inclusive to not add any tax at the end of the invoice. The tax amount will still show, but the sub total will be inclusive of tax

Use the setting Purchases are tax: Inclusive/inclusive to set if the Purchase price is Including or excluding tax

Customer quote or invoice
