Make technicians mandatory for job status

Use this to make sure that schedulers have allocated technicians for jobs

Stop schedules from accidentally setting job statuses without adding technicians by making technicians mandatory on jobs for a selected job status. Β 

To set technicians as mandatory

1. Click on the cog icon > Settings (or you may directly click on the Job Navigator)

2. Go to Work > Job Workflows > Click on the status that you want to make technicians mandatory for

You can also open this directly from the left-side menu bar, by expanding Jobs section > then selecting Job Navigator.

Now once you're here - double click on the status that you want to make technicians mandatory for.

For eg: Let's click on Completed (reactive) status.

3. Check technicians as mandatory


In the new screen, tick the following checkbox: At least one technician is selected on the job

4. Click save to close the pop up


Technicians are now mandatory for this status and jobs cannot be saved with this status without adding technicians.
