If you use triggered SMS messages sent on job status change you might want to make technicians mandatory for that status. Jobs cannot be saved without adding a unit or technician, but if you allocate your technicians after adding your units, you might want to make technicians mandatory for a job status, such as a status that triggers SMS messages to you technicians.
Make technicians mandatory for job status
1. Click on settings - Job details
2. Click on the status that you want to make technicians mandatory for
Under Job statuses, double click on the status that you want to make technicians mandatory for
3. Check technicians as mandatory
In the pop up check the new checkbox At least one technician is selected for the job
4. Click save to close the pop up
Technicians are now mandatory for this status and jobs cannot be saved with this status without adding technicians.
