Set special rates for an account customer or a project to be used for all jobs on the project/account customer.
Set rates for an Account Customer
1. Open the Account Customer
Click on Accounts customers in the main menu and select the Account Customer from the list.
2. Click on the Rates section to add rates
Open the Rates section from the list of tabs and click on it to view the current list of rates and to add a new one.
Scroll down to add a new Rate.
Note: You can choose to enable/disable Rates from this same tab at the bottom. If the rates are disabled, the icon to enable it will look like this below:
3. Add the inventory items and set the rates
Once you click on the Add item button > a new line item will be added and you can customise the inventory item and set the rate for the item.
Click on the type to change it / Select category if you wish to allocate the item to a specific category.
Set up the rates as required and then click Save to confirm the changes.
4. Account customer rates on a job
These rates will be used automatically on all jobs created for this Account customer. If you enable rates on a project for the same customer the project rates will be used for jobs on that project.
Set rates for a Project
1. Open the Project
When in the Account Customer view > select Projects, and click on the specific project to open it. You can also choose to open complete list of Projects from the main-menu under Projects.
2. Click on the Rates tab to enable rates
Open the Rates tab and click the Enable rates button if not enabled already.
Enabling Project rates will disable account customer rates for all jobs on this project.
Now, click on the Add Item button to add a new inventory item rate.
3. Add the inventory items and set the rates
Once you click on the Add item button > a new line item will be added and you can customise the inventory item and set the rate for the item.
Once set, click on Save to confirm the changes.
4. Use Project rates on a job
These rates will be used automatically on all jobs created for this Project.
Note: If you enable rates on a project for the same customer the project rates will be used for jobs on that project.
