Technician: adding job notes in the field using the Mobile app

  1. On your mobile device, open the job that you want to add the notes to

  2. Expand the Job details section by click on Show

  3. Click on Edit to the right of Tech notes

4. Type or dictate your notes using the keyboard for your mobile device. Your notes will be saved automatically

5. When you're done, click on the orange back arrow on the top left to go back to the job. Your notes will be visible to your team instantly

The tech notes added on a job in a recurring job series  

If the job is part of a recurring ongoing job, the tech notes will be the same on all the jobs. For all other types of recurring jobs (such as daily, weekly, monthly etc) the tech notes will be added only on the job where they are entered.
