How to access the Site's System Fields and configure them

FieldInsight provides several built-in fields for Customer Sites, which can be used immediately. However, depending on your business requirements, some fields may not be necessary, and certain restrictions may need to be applied for field workers.

Access the Site System Fields

To access the Site System fields:

  • Click the βš™οΈ (Settings icon) in the top-right corner.

  • Select Settings from the dropdown menu.

  • Navigate to Customer β†’ Site β†’ System Fields


Enable and Set Required Fields

On this page, you can control visibility, required fields, and even edit permissions. Fields are categorised into two groups: Scheduler Site Fields and Mobile Site Fields.

Scheduler Site Fields

For these fields, you can toggle visibility on or off and mark specific fields as required to ensure key information is always captured.

Mobile Site Fields

These settings apply only to users accessing the system via the mobile view. Fields can be toggled on or off for visibility. Unlike the Scheduler Site Fields, technicians cannot edit these fields unless the Editable option is enabled.
