Staff's/contractors certifications, Licenses and insurance information is an extremely important thing to keep on top of. But it is hard to find the time.
FieldInsight has created a handy Staff induction workflow that makes it easy to induct new staff and keep on top of the paperwork every year. Ever better, it it the staff and contractors that need to complete the tasks, not you!
When using this workflow you can:
Upload trade certificates/qualifications
Select Job types that the staff/contractor can do
Upload insurance documentation for contractors
Create checklists of things that need to be done
Once your induction is setup, you can automate to repeat annually with optional reminder messages to be sent to techs and schedulers.
If staff/contractors do not complete the induction they will be suspended after two weeks and all future inductions will be removed.
Suspended staff/contractors can be reinstated from the Suspended tab in settings - staff.

1) Add a new staff/contractor and schedule an induction
Open Settings - staff
Click on the Add staff button.
To schedule the Induction click on the induction tab
This will open the site and job page.
The Site will automatically default to the internal site that we set up in phase 1
The Job will be populated with the below default information
Simply select the date and time you want to job to be done by and
Induction record is stored on the staff's profile under the inductions tab.

Incomplete Inductions suspends technicians after 2 weeks
If the Induction is not completed after 10 days, technicians receive an email to remind them to complete the induction and that they will be suspended. If the induction is still not completed the technician will automatically be suspended two weeks after the scheduled Induction and all future inductions will be deleted. Suspended technicians can be restored in settings - staff - suspended staff.
Inductions must be rescheduled for restored technicians.
Create an induction report (Optional)
Setup a new template to generate a PDF report for the Technician Induction. Include any custom fields and images that you want to show on this report.
