Asset Management is a premium feature available on our ProfessionalINSIGHT plan. Contact us on +61 3 9005 7144 or via the chat in the bottom right hand corner if you want to upgrade your plan.

When you have Asset management and Asset tests enabled you will see a new Menu in the grey Bar (Asset tests) and also be able to access Assets in the Accounts menu.

Asset options

We realise that all business are different so we have several options for managing your assets. Turn on Simple Asset Management, in Settings - Misc, scroll down to Asset management

My Asset ID

Using the My Asset ID field you can customise the way you organise and sort your assets. To rename this field click on Settings - Misc and scroll down to My Asset ID.

Asset custom fields

You can add any field you want to an asset using the Asset custom field. The Asset custom fields work the same as any other custom fields, to add a new field to you assets go to settings - custom fields tab. Scroll down to Assets and click add field.

The type of fields are the sam as our other custom fields. Check out the Asset custom fields article to learn more. 

Adding Assets

If you have several assets that you manage already we can import these for you. contact us to discuss your options.

Add an asset manually

In the main menu click on Accounts - Assets. Click Add Asset and fill out the details about the asset.

Searching assets

To view and search all your assets click on Accounts - assets, you can search by customer or any text in the asset fields.

The assets are also listed on the Asset tab on the account or customer page (depending on which one you have selected as the Asset owner)

Adding assets to jobs

When scheduling a job for the asset owner you can see the assets on the asset tab and can check to associate them to the job (this is also what you would do when testing an asset).
